2012 was an unforgettable year for me and December’s “Beauties & Brains Behind the Brands” event was definitely a highlight. If you weren’t able to join us, we’ve got you covered. Our girls over at Mane Moves have produced an awesome video that truly captures the evening’s essence. Although I’d been living and breathing this event for the past few weeks, seeing this video was like TRULY being in the room for the first time. I definitely shed a few tears of pride and joy while viewing (yes, I’m a softie at times). There were so many brilliant and inspiring women in the room and so many jewels shared. On Wednesday evening, Renae Bluitt, creator of In Her Shoes hosted a panel with six of the top women in the beauty industry sharing their tips on defying the odds and coming out on top. The discussion was honest, laced with lots of wisdom, humorous at times, and nothing short of amazing. Over 150 beauty, fashion, and lifestyle mavens mixed and mingled, networked, and enjoyed the conversation while indulging in wine and sweet bites from Evelyn’s Kitchen and Signature 7 Dessert Studios. As mentioned last week, many of our fellow New Yorkers are still dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy so we had to reschedule our upcoming event. Hope you can join us on December 5th at the same time, same location, and with the same AWESOME guest speakers!

As we all know, Hurricane Sandy is behind us but the widespread damage in the Tri-State area is not.
