Shades of Beauty
By Renae | In Her Shoes Home, Out About TownOn June 23rd, 2012 at Long Island University (Brooklyn Campus) Lutney Hall, Founder of Hip Hop 4 Life Tamekia Flowers-Holland hosted her annual Shades of Beauty Women of Inspiration Brunch & Awards Ceremony. The fundraiser event recognized and honored phenomenal women and girls who positively impact their community, personify self-esteem and self-respect, and continue to be an inspiration to girls everywhere. 150 women and girls were in attendance and some of the honorees included: Michaela Angela Davis, Adrienne White (Disney), and Celebrity DJ Deja Vu.
