The flowers I speak of are beautiful young women of color who are blossoming into tomorrow’s leaders. This Saturday at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, New York, approximately 125 high school girls from the New York area gathered for the day-long Sista 2 Sista Summit focused on the empowerment of women. The students were blessed with an inspiring day of panel discussions, workshops and live entertainment, centered around self-awareness, self-appreciation and self-actualization
