When it comes to accessories, my personal mantra is bigger + brighter = better! Today, we’re excited to introduce you to fly female entrepreneur Yumnah Naja, who definitely seems to agree. The 19-year-old jewelry designer and creative visionary behind Yumnah Najah Designs launched the business during her senior year of high school. The beautifully crafted line has gained recognition as a brand that represents confidence, creativity and elegance. In recent months Yumnah Najah Designs has been spotted on songstress Estelle during her European tour and featured by popular style blogger, Folake Huntoon of Style Pantry. With a line of jewelry that’s been embraced by trendsetters from Brooklyn to the Bay, Yumnah Naja knows that when it comes to her brand, the best is yet to come!
I was inspired to launch Yumnah Najah Designs after graduating early from high school. As a lover of art and fashion, at the time I was looking for bright, bold accessories that would alow me to express my love for color and creativity. I couln’t find any accessories like the ones I was imagining, so I decided to merge my love for painting, jewelry and business and create my own. In Novemeber 2010, I launched the first collection and online store.
