On Wednesday night Tracy Reese’s boutique in New York City’s Meatpacking District was the hottest ticket in town as style veteran and beauty industry icon Mikki Taylor celebrated the release of her new book, “Commander in Chic: Every Woman’s Guide to Managing Her Style Like a First Lady.” With a guest list that read like the “who’s who” of the beauty, fashion, and publishing worlds, Mikki’s New York City launch event served as the official kick-off for her national book tour.
Notables spotted at the event include: Tracy Reese, Darryl McDaniel (of Run DMC fame) and wife Zuri McDaniel, Michaela Angela Davis, Marvett Britto, Edris Nicholls, Daisy Lewellyn, Soledad O’Brian, Dr. Michelle Callahan, Margeaux Rawson, and Harriet Cole.
